Looking into some members' past and present journey in ART

I have many students telling me that before they learned to paint with me, they all thought that they didn't have a talent for painting. However, after they have finished a few lessons under my guidance, almost everyone is very surprised to realize that they can paint. The finished artwork is often much better than they expected. Many of them, after seeing their own achievements, began to turn painting into their own hobby. Many people are skeptical and have no confidence but a good teacher will know how to guide and lead the students. As long as the students are willing to learn, after a period of practicing, they will be able to achieve their own satisfactory results.

-Shan, senior artist instructor-

Member, Cynthia Chua

Before joining us

Cynthia have had a few years of painting experience before joining our studio. She is a relatively chic and informal person, so after she joined our studio, our instructor guided her to master the basic techniques, and encouraging her to use the palette knife and the brush strokes. She likes explosive brushstrokes and expressions. After two years of learning in our studio, she has great improvement and her current progress is very obvious to all.

Member, Sharon Chow

Past artwork

Sharon originally came to learn to paint is just to pass time, she did not really like to paint. The painting on the left was her second painting and she was surprised to find that she was getting better, she began to enjoy painting and she started to become more serious in her learning. The latter portrait is her fifth painting. Can you imagine it? the difference between her second and fifth painting. Of course, this is because she has made a lot of effort and adapt a more serious learning attitude to achieve the results.

Member, Sherry Seow

Before joining us

Before joining us, Sherry has attended a short-term painting class of one to two months in another studio. Basically, she has not received any formal basic training in art. Sherry is a very serious learner and she does not mind spending more time than others, as long as she can really learn the basic techniques in painting. This "Cat" artwork is her second oil painting and because of her attentiveness and patience, she completed this work that she is very satisfied and proud of.

Member, Chee Pok Foo

Past artwork

Mr. Foo enjoys and loves to paint, so he decided to come to our studio to learn to paint. The painting on the left is the first painting when he just started learning. Mr. Foo is very quiet, but he has his own ideas. His paintings are full of his unique imagination and charm and his paintings are relatively large in size. After more than two years of learning with our instructor, he can now exert his creativity arbitrarily without worrying about techniques problems.
